STABLE HANDS

STABLE HANDS

8 Bannister Street, Fremantle | WA | Completed 2016

Builder | Western Construction Group

THE INTENTION OF THIS CONCEPT WAS TO RETAIN AND HIGHLIGHT THE HERITAGE BONES OF THE OLD STABLES, TO EMBRACE THE ETHEREAL NATURAL LIGHT AND CREATE A REALLY CLEAN, CONTEMPORARY, LIGHT AESTHETIC IN CONTRAST WITH THE RUSTIC, HEAVY TEXTURES OF THE EXISTING BUILDING.

WE INCORPORATED LOTS OF CUSTOM DETAILS THROUGHOUT THE FIT-OUT WHICH ARE FUNCTIONAL AS WELL AS BEAUTIFUL, AND HAVE BEEN EXECUTED WITH INCREDIBLE PRECISION AND MASTERFUL SKILL. THE PALETTE OF BRASS AND WHITE-OILED PLY WITH SLIMLINE STONE AND STEEL ANGLED PROFILES LAYERED GENTLY AGAINST THE RUSTIC TEXTURES OF THE LIMESTONE WALLS AND JARRAH FLOORS TO CREATE A SUBTLE, SERENE AMBIENCE.
